15th International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition

ICMPC15/ESCOM10 was the 15th International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition and the 10th main conference of the European Society for the Cognitive Sciences of Music. The conference took place from 23-28 July 2018 at four locations simultaneously: Graz/Austria, La Plata/Argentina, Montreal/Canada and Sydney/Australia.

Such a conference format can be described as "multi-hub" and "semi-virtual".

  • "Multi-hub" because such a conference is spread across several locations or hubs.
  • "Semi-virtual" because at such a conference, personal interactions during presentations and discussions as well as in social gatherings are usually both "face-to-face" (face-to-face) and electronic (audiovisual, virtual) at the same time.
